We were using toddler toothpaste but it seems to be pointless as all she does is eat if off of the toothbrush before brushing without any paste. We tried skipping the paste for a while and now I just picked up some Tom's of Maine without fluoride so we'll see how she does with that. I think toddler toothpaste may be a marketing scheme.

Aquafresh's training toothpaste. If I'm quick, I can get the toothbrush into her mouth and brush a few strokes before she's slurped it off.

Becky. Is that flouride free? If so, where did you get it? I'm still using orajel flouride free training toothpaste with my 3yr old DD. I would like to change it up a bit, but won't switch to flouride until I know my kids won't swallow it whole. lol

honestly, I couldn't tell you for sure. My luck, it probably isn't flouride free. We used the orajel stuff when we started, but when it was done, I just grabbed the first thing I could find that looked age appropriate. Maggie doesn't get access to it without supervision ever, and the pin head amount we use I'm not overly concerned about.

I also agree that toddler toothpaste is probably a marketing scheme.
