Anyone still have LO's that are breastfeeding or getting a bottle still?
Do you plan on letting them self wean?
Do you use the enfa grow formula for toddlers?

Still breastfeeding. I honestly don't know when we are going to wean. There are some days that I want to let him self wean when he is ready and there are other days that I am so ready to be done.

Bottle for suze- has to have special formula (elecare) until she is 3. Will switch her to a tippee when she's eating better. Right now it's her main consistent source of food.

Do you plan on letting them self wean? yes, I'm planning on giving her the bottle as long as she'll take it.
Do you use the enfa grow formula for toddlers? no just regular milk.

Ellie is still nursing. I'd like to at least night wean her soon. I want to let her self wean, but at the same time I'd like to have my body back for a little while before I get pregnant again so we'll see. She hasn't had a bottle at home since last summer. She only still gets one when she spends the night at MIL's. Usually she drinks milk from a cup with a straw.

We weaned Hallie from her bottle at 12 months. We still gave her transition sippies at night and she self-weaned from that at 13 months. Strictly milk and watered down juices.

My LO is still drinking from a bottle. He just refuses to drink milk out of a sippy cup. How did you guys wean your LO from the bottle?? I feel like I have tried everything - straws, strawberry flavoring in the milk, new colorful sippy cups, nothing works. The dr. said to stop giving him bottles cold turkey and he will eventually drink when he is thirsty. Im just afraid to do this thinking he will starve himself. He hasn't been eating solid foods too well lately but he LOVES his milk and drinks about 27 oz a day.

Sophia is still nursing before nap and nighttime. My boobs are so small now- they are almost gone.

Other than that she drinks whole milk from a sippy cup- she never really liked the bottle.

I hear ya. I had small boobs to begin with and now they are pretty much non-existent.

He will drink when he's thirsty he really will. You might have a rough day or two, but he'll drink. I'd also only offer milk with meals and maybe leave out a sippy with water in it througout the day, see if that helps his curiousity about the sippy cup.
We had a time where B would take sippies through the day but refused it first thing in the morning and before bed, I just stopped the bottles cold turkey and he didn't even notice that he wasn't getting them anymore.
It will be ok!

And with the eating, he's probably not eating a lot because of so much milk. 27oz is a lot. Most docs/websites/etc will recommend 16-24oz at this age.

Rosie has been bottle free since around 11.5 months. She gets whole milk or whatever I buy.

The transition I thought was going to be hard because she would not have it. But when she was so upset the one day I squirted it in her mouth and she realized it was milk. After that she took to it. She still got her bottle before bed but once the formula was gone that was it no more bottle. Now of course if she see's Joshua's bottle she will go after it. but more to play with anything or to try to feed Joshua.

Cade weaned in the last few weeks, he drinks whole milk from a sippy cup now, but he does drink alot of it. I'll give him a few more months of as much milk as he wants and somewhere between 18m-24m I'll wean that down and give more water and occasional juice and make sure he eats more food. He's a good eater so I don't anticipate a problem.

Never had a bottle.
Still breastfed.
Gets water or milk in sippy cup or regular cup but mostly still nursing. Letting her self wean at this point. She seems to nurse maybe twice a day for actual milk then two to three more times for comfort/bonding?

bottle at bed time/nap time only. he refuses to sleep without one. I tried the whole let him put himself to sleep without a bottle but after 2 nights I figured if hes that uncomfortable without it then there is no real harm in giving it to him at bedtime. He drinks water only throughout the day in a sippy.
