Have you had to make any with your LO (hopefully not)? If so what was it for?

We have had 4 ambulance epi pen related ER visits, and 3 visits that we just rushed her in and she was treated. So 7 trips allergy related.

We have been to the ER once, and only because it is the only option (no Urgent Care open in the evenings in our town). It was for a fever, and looking back, probably wasn't really necessary...chalk it up to first-time-mommy fears

Miranda is my first kid who has hardly been sick. Or maybe I just don't overreact as much anymore. But luckily she's only had a couple of colds and bronchitis that needed antibiotics, but that was just a regular dr. visit.

I think 2 ER visits and one ended in an ambulance ride to a bigger hospital. They were for his breathing problems. The ambulance ride was shortly after we finally got the doctors to believe us and admit that something was seriously wrong with his breathing.

Thankfully neither of my kids have required an ER visit yet.

yeah, Nathan went in because he broke out into hives. they were all over him, huge and he had more hives than regular skin. it was a virus and needed no treatment, it went away on its own.

another time i took him in because he had been laying on my bed (only a couple of months old) asleep while i picked up laundry, and he opened his eyes and was unresponsive and his head was floppy. it was the scariest thing. he was fine though.

rebecca was in when she was 4 months old because i tripped while carrying her and she fell on the ground in a parking lot. it was so horrifying, my first baby. she was also fine, she was wearing a thick warm hat and only fell from a few inches high. took her in again a few days after that because she was vomiting, and that could be a sign of a head injury but actually she had just picked up a bug at the hospital when i had her in for the fall.

she was in another time because she fell out of bed and cut her eyelid on a toy box. I may have had her in another time but I don't remember why.

We've been very lucky so far. Ellie has never even been to the doctor for an illness. The only time we have even called to see if she needed to be seen was when she picked up a stomach virus at day care (and then gave it to us and our friends).

No visits here for us either. Rosie has had a few minor colds. I took her in once for possible ear infections that was nothing. And then right before Christmas she had 2 days of a fever . I consider us very lucky.
