I'm just going to try and get my bearings after the vacation. DH went back to work today, and I am back to my WAH job as well. We need to get back into our routine!!

Otherwise, just the usual...laundry, dishes, take the trash to the curb (done!), etc. I also really need to scrub Claire's high chair today...we had biscuits with jelly last night for supper, and there is jelly EVERYWHERE

1. Grocery Shopping
2. Make Gage's birthday cake
3. Make Gage's birthday cupcakes for his classroom

Those are the things I HAVE to do today, other things can get done but those are must dos.

Laundry and try to get back into a real routine. With Josh being home this long it really screws things up.

I need to catch up on the ridiculous mountain of laundry I have. I hate folding so it ends up in piles and eventually gets mixed back with the dirty laundry.

I am in total disarray today. My house looks like I bomb hit it and I am so overwhelmed, I don't know where to start. I wasn't home in 10 days...so I have tons of laundry, dishes, grocery shopping, paying bills, putting aways christmas gifts, taking down the decorations. I really need some motivation, I so don't know where to start and its almost 2 o'clock.

I already worked out, went grocery shopping, cleaned the kitchen, and started laundry. But the bathrooms need to be cleaned (hate it) and the living room vacuumed (hate it), stairs need to be vacuumed (hate it even more) and laundry folded and put away. Basically, clean, clean, and clean some more. So I am having a cup of tea right now, calculated my possibility of being pregos and surfing JM.

This always ends up being my problem too. The FlyLady method really seems to help me. Just pick one thing and spend 15 minutes on it. Then move on and do 15 minutes somewhere else. I find if I do things in 15 minute segments, it's not so overwhelming.

Thanks Diana! I really need to do this, I've done it before. It amazes me how much can be done in 15 minutes.

You can really get a lot done! And sometimes I end up spending longer than 15 minutes on an area, but telling myself I'm just going to do 15 minutes makes it feel more manageable and gets me started.

I have a schedule I try to say on. Using the word try loosely. It's more of a "if I'm caught up I can stay on schedule kind of thing." I do one room per day so I don't get overwhelmed. Monday-Laundry, Tuesday-bedrooms, Wednesday-living room, Thursday-kitchen, Friday-bathroom. Start over the next week. If I tried to do every room every day I'd go crazy.
