Ok seriously my child leaks out of every freaking diaper out there at night. I bought some LUVs and the stupid thing exploded so yeah lovely beads all over this morning. We have done Pampers, Pampers Over night, Target, Huggies, Luvs, some other off brands. Moved up in size at night and every single one she leaks out of of. And I am so sick of waking up and feeling like she just needs to go into the tub first thing in the morning.
We have moved her last drink to 6-630 but that don't even work.
Would CD maybe hold her better? Is she too late to start with CD? Would it help in potty training with her as well?
I am seriously considering CD with Joshua. But not even sure where to start or how to begin. How many would i need? When out in public I probably would still use disposables but again it just seems so overwhelming.

generally cloth needs to be changed more often so if the reason she is leaking out of diapers is that she is peeing too much then cloth probably wouldnt make a difference, but if she did leak out the diaper it wouldnt explode. You could also add more inserts to a cloth diaper so it could be as absorbent as you wanted
Is she maybe holding her pee and then going all at once? thats pretty normal as kids get closer to Potty Learning.... Ross has started doing that and sometimes his diaper just cant absorb it all fast enough.
The number you need depends on how often you want to do laundry, Will goes through 8-10 diapers a day and Ross 6-8 so if you want to wash every other night you would probably want about 24 for Joshua and 18 for Rosie
if you have any more questions im happy to answer them, and feel free to message me here or on FB anytime

It could be that she is holding but I think she just pees A LOT. because during the day some are super full as well.
Laundry really wouldn't be bad since I do a load everyday anyways. Off to do some research 8-10 isn't bad 24 total not bad either. THanks. If I have more questions I will for sure be asking.

I wonder if you could change her pooping schedule to go during the day- or just before bed? Raisins work really well for Sophia. Just a few, like 5-10 (maybe more in the beginning, I guess you would have to try out how many it takes for things to move through.
She gets more frequent poops and the diaper can handle it. Some occasions where it was close to exploding out of it, but so far the diaper catches it. We have had night poops and the diaper did explode also. Maybe b/c they lay in it for so long...?
I am no help with CDs.

Ellie leaks out of most disposables at night. We've had the most luck putting her in a heavy duty fleece pocket diaper at night and double stuffing it so she lasts through the night. A lot of places will sell starter packs of cloth diapers so you can try different types and see what you like. Some will even basically 'rent' you newborn ones so that you can figure out which ones you like and then return the ones you don't.

Tommy was leaking out of all diapers at night. I bought the Huggies overnight and they seem to help, I think he only pees at night...lol.

I started using cloth with this trial program by Jillian's Drawers - Jillian's Drawers - Cloth Diaper Trial, Try Cloth Diapers for $10, Changing Diapers, Changing Minds Program . It is a great way to try out a few different kinds of diapers without spending a ton of money. You get to try out 8 different diapers (new) and some prefolds for $10 plus shipping both ways.
I don't have a super soaker like you do, but I bet if you come over to the cloth diapering board people there might have some suggestion for you. I've been using cloth for about 3 years now and I love it.

I would try a few different types brands to see what you like before committing to 1 type or brand, the fit is different on every baby so its always good to see what you like first
some places offer trial/rental packs, maybe thats something that might work for you.
here is one i found (im sure you could find more if you did a little google search)
Jillian's Drawers - Cloth Diaper Trial, Try Cloth Diapers for $10, Changing Diapers, Changing Minds Program
or this one, that one looks really good because they let you pick and choose what you want to try
Cloth Diaper Trial - 30 Day Money Back Guarantee - Diaper Junction

We use Huggies Overnights, too, and they seem to work pretty well. We have an occasional leak, but they are much better than a regular diaper for nights.

Bishop is a super soaker, during the day I double him with 2 inserts and at night, I triple him with 3 inserts. I only have pocket diapers (Even though i've eyed up some goodmamas and orange diapers) which works wonders with my choice of absorbency.
I started cloth diapering again last February at the start. Dane was 2 and Bishop was 4 months. So you can still do it!

ohhh it seems LUVS use to be better...maybe Im wrong but years ago when my older kids were in diapers thats all I would use cause they didnt leak at night. Then I got one pack this time with Brynlie and she peed like twice and was soaking wet. I wont buy them again. We get the Huggies too.
Id love to CD but my husband said thats a no go...he said you are not my mother. Not sure what thats suppose to mean but whatever that wasnt a battle I was ready to fight.

Yeah I was looking at that and Josh said I know how you are, are we really going to save money..lol
Yeah I am not happy with these LUVS. Prior to their new design I wasn't minding them then the switch and not a fan so I stopped using them. And thought well wth try them again since they were on sale plus I had a coupon.

Haha we're saving money, the upfront can be costly (depending on what kind you get and such) but in the long run it works out.
All ours are pocket diapers almost all of them are one size so both boys could use them at their different weights. Now they're both on the same setting. I want more but since I can't make it a hobby to buy them, I just look.
We have Kawaiis, Go-greens, bumgenius and fuzzibunz (which are my non- one sizes)
