Our PR has been pretty dead for a couple months now. We currently do not have a host and from the looks of things I'm not sure if we will get one in the near future. It has been suggested that we merge with another PR. I have been in communication with August 2010 PR host and they are excited and the majority of them would love to merge with us. We still have to iron out specifics and I am waiting on a PM from the admins to let us know what we need to do to basically merge. I think this is a great idea, the more the merrier. Those ladies are very laid back and I think we would fit right in!! What do you think?

I really don't think so...They started a thread in thier PR (like ours) and there have been no objections yet.

Ok, just spoke with Rachel and she will be speaking to the other hosts, put an announcement on both PRs and shortly after that we will merge!

I thought this has been needed for quite some time so I am happy about it. The only thing that bothers me is silly and only that we shall all lose our post counts once the merge is made (or at least that is what happened when my old July 05 PR mergered. i lost like 5000 + posts!) so now i shall be back at near zero on post count and i have been a member of JM for 7 years!

I don't think that happens with mergers. I've been a member of lots of boards that have merged and I didn't lose my post counts. I think it must have been a system glitch around the time your boards merged.

Really? That is good to know and I hope you are right!! Though I was told from my old PR host that is what happened to all our post counts once our PR merged. (we have a private July 05 FB page ever since). I would hate to start all over again  and it looks dumb to be a member for as many years as me and have like 10 posts

Sounds good to me. I've haven't been around for ages, but maybe one of these days I'll get on some more. For what it's worth, when my old playroom merged, I didn't lose my posts either.

Hmm guess I was super unlucky with whatever happened to them then  oh well, as long as I dont lose these.
