Maggie is resisting the afternoon nap the last couple of days. Shaking it up anyway. Wish it meant she consistently would go to be earlier and stay out longer, but unfortunately not.
Anyone else struggling on the nap front? I expected her to drop the last nap eventually, but I'm not ready for it to happen so soon!

Nope, naps are going fine but bedtime has gone from 8:30 to 9:30 or 10! Maybe naps should be a little shorter.

I think we've hit the terrible twos here...with a vengeance.
I'm also dealing with tons more whining and temper tantrums. And we're getting 2-4 weeks of good night sleeping, followed by 2-4 weeks of interrupted sleeping. It's slowly killing me I think. LOL

Aww poor momma...we have been here for about 2 weeks now. Bedtime is not the issue, but naps have been hit and miss. Some days she will lay down w/o any problems and sleep 1 1/2 hours other days good luck if she will even take a nap... Also her bed is by the light switch and she has discovered how it works! lol...We nipped that in the bud! lol

Ty dropped his afternoon nap months ago. I can hardly remember him even taking one now He is up most of the day. His only nap he takes is about 9:00/9:30am for about an 1-1/2 hrs. Thats it. He goes to bed around 7pm and sleeps till about 5:00-5:30am and is then up for the day.

Wyatt is up between 7 and 8, naps usually around 11:30/12 for two hours....and is going to bed around 7 each night....though we are starting to have a few more days where he just won't nap, or just won't calm down for a hour before crashing...

Hunter hasn't had more than 1 nap a day for a LOOOONG time. These days he is home with my Mom (and 3 other kids). Most days he doesn't get a nap, or has just drifted off when I walk through the door at 4pm. KILL ME. I haven't decided which I prefer:
1) No nap and falling asleep at 5pm, only to wake up still tired around 7pm for a small screamfest, and fall back asleep for the night. Then up between 3:30-4:30am for the day. or.....
2) Napping anywhere from 3-4pm for about 1 1/2hrs, making bed time a massive struggle at about 10pm (also when I go to bed).
I wish my Mom could dedicate more time to getting H to sleep during the day, but the harsh reality is she has him, my 2.5yr old nephew, my 3yr old DD and my 4yr old neice. Too much going on to leave the room for a cuddle.

oh sweetie. I think I'd go insane. OK. That's it. I'm not whining any more this week. Well until she has her next temper tantrum!
I feel bad for your mom too. No way in the world do I think I could deal with 4 toddlers at the same time at this age. It would be a cold day you know where before I'd even think about trying it in my 50's or 60's. Bless her and her courage! LOL
