Its so easy! This is how I make mine

1 pack stewing beef (I use the family size and don't cut the cubes up)
1 bag of frozen peas, carrots and corn (you can do fresh if you want)
3-5 potatoes cut up, depending on the size.
Soy sauce
Beef bouillon
Corn starch

Brown the beef, don't fully cook in the pan. Use some oil. Dump into a dutch oven even with the juices.

Then peel and cut up the potatoes. I do half, then cut the halves in half then slice down. I like a lot of potatoes in mine.

Put the beef and potatoes into the dutch oven, fill with water (leave room because everything else will make the level rise)

Cook on medium for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Then when the hour is up, add carrots, peas, corn, some soy sauce and about 1 tbsp of beef bouillon. Its all to taste. You don't want it to taste too salty. Sometimes I add a little bit of pepper.

Cook for 30 minutes on medium, stirring occasionally. When the time is up, take 4-5 tsp corn starch, equal amounts of water, mix and slowly stir into the pot. Let it thicken. I love thick stew so I tend to do a bit more than usual. Add soy sauce or a bit more bouillon to taste. Serve!

The boys had peanut butter and jelly and some grapes. I had a hard boiled egg, cottage cheese, and an orange. I didn't make a big dinner because DH went out to a bike meeting.
