Do you have a landline? Will you ever get rid of it?

we don't. we've talked about getting magic jack though. I'd like to have a back up if something goes wrong with our cells.

we do, i dont think we will get rid of it, we both only 1 crappy cell with the most basic plan as an in case of emergency, seriously its got like 50 minutes and 50 texts a month
so unless its cheaper for us both to get fancy cells and fancy plans we will keep our land line

We do and probably not. As I prefer to talk on that over my cell. However if I get better reception on my cell I might get rid of it. But right now we are in a packaged deal with our internet so more then likely it would be if we move again.

We have a landline and I don't see us getting rid of it. It's packaged with our internet and tv and includes free long distance. Can't go wrong with that!

lol..We do and we have for sometime now, but we don't have an actual phone! Caden lost the cordless phone a couple of years ago and we never purchased another one. We have a bundle package (phone, internet and cable) so to get rid of it doesn't save us much money...this thread has me thinking maybe I should go by one...
We do have cell phones and just use them.

Shantel...we are in the same boat as you. While I technically have a landline because it is bundled with our tv/internet package, we don't have an actual phone hooked up. We use our cell phones.

We have a landline and we are keeping it. I only have the cell for basic stuff and use my landline for most calls.

Just cell phones here. We haven't had a land line in over 6 years and even then it was just for a few months.

Our land line is a VOIP called OOMA and I don't see getting rid of it, we also have our cells but dh's is paid for by his work and my cell is a pre-paid so I don't use it much.

Yup, we have a land line. It is pretty much our junk line to give to places where you know it will be sold off to and also to anything "bill/house" related...

We do, and we won't likely get rid of it anytime soon either. unlimited long distance, a second line for my work. It's more reliable than our soft phones for work. Cell, we have one that we share for emergencies and for DH's work stuff. DH is like super geek and so you'd think he'd be all over cell and voip coverage, but he refuses to move to VOIP for the main line until they work out being able to properly trace 911 calls. Then I think he'll consider it. Moving to cell's permanently doesn't make sense for us, because it's just way too darned expensive.

Ours is bundled with our cable and internet, and it's VOIP not technically a landline. If it wasn't bundled, I wouldn't have it cause we could just use our cell phones.
