Yes. DH looked up a list of fruits/veggies that are worth buying organic b/c the pesticides get absorbed in the fruit/veggie skin- I buy those usually. Sometimes the organic stuff looks really bad then I will buy regular. But I try.

Yes, as much as we can. We go to Whole Foods once a month, otherwise I try to shop the local Farmer's Market. I can't wait for spring when it opens again!!

Nope! When Sarah was younger and I was making my own baby food I would buy organic for her, but for a group our size organic just gets too expensive. Out here organic anything costs nearly twice as much.

Never on purpose here either...and again, it's because of the cost. I do however do my best to grow what I can. At our old house, I used to grow my own herbs. At this new house (we moved in December), I'll be making a more conscious effort to plant more veggies. They're always organic if you grow them yourself.

Produce I do if its on sale or from the farmer's market. But other then that I don't. To expensive and half the time the organic stuff is not as good as the other stuff.

Not usually because of the price difference and there are a lot of us to feed. I do go to the farmers market in the summer and I think we are going to try and grow a garden again this year, last years did not turn out.

this. I also try to get meat that has no nitrates or nitrites. And I try to stay away from high fructose corn syrup, but that's rough sometimes.

I buy organic for the dirty dozen foods. I also buy organic snacks from Annie's or Earth's Best for Juliana, but I'm not super strict about it. Once I had a mom flip out on me because I gave her kid a Cheerio and Cheerios are not organic.

Whoah....a cheerio...seriously?, sometimes some people go over board. I am all for giving my kids healthy/organic snacks but I would never flip out on someone over a cheerio.

Fruits and veggies when possible.. Milk always. Atleast cage free eggs (usually get those from a local farm), snacks if possible, and we buy a lot of bulk organic stuff like rice and beans to keep as food storage and to have on hand. But we don't flip over cheerios LOL. I drink atleast 1 coca cola a week. Our juice isn't organic either come to think of it.

Nope, it's to expensive. We will do a garden this summer thoug. Just tomatoes, green peppers and onions though. Then we can the tomatoes, and make salsa, and make spaghetti sauce. We'll also do strawberries and raspberries, maybe cantaloupe too. Home grown stuff is always the best.
