Where are you from? Did you always live there? Do you ever see yourself moving somewhere else?

Right now we live in barrie ontario (about an hour north of toronto). I grew up in Fort Frances (a little town in NW ontario on the MN border) and we actually do plan on moving in the next 5-10 years, but only to Orillia, which is another town about 30 mins from Barrie, just because the houses are cheaper and the taxes are lower. The only way we would move away from this area is if Dh got a new job, or got a transfer to another office within is company

I grew up in Michigan and have lived here all of my life. I am from outside Detroit and Ann Arbor, a place called Brighton. I love it there.
We are actually moving back downstate next weekend! Not to brighton, but not far from it either. 20 minutes away which is a whole heck of a lot better than the 4 hours we are now
One day we may move out of state, to probably North Carolina. Right now, we need to be back home.

I live about an hour outside of Toronto as well. I was born and raised in the Greater Toronto Area, but have lived as far away as Texas. I think if we move again, it will be within Ontario. Unless we win enough to buy ourselves a dream house on a beach somewhere, then we'll probably have two homes. One for the school year here, and one for summers and vacations in a far off paradise!

Right now, I'm an hour and a half away from Toronto, Ontario. I was born in Ottawa and lived there until I was around 12.
I'm happy where we are now. I don't really like huge city's, but I love shopping in them haha.
I don't see us moving either since I love being close to my family, but that could change if my husband ever wants to transfer somewhere else for work. Gotta go where the money is!

I currently live about 40 mins from Toronto. I grew up on the East coast of Canada (Nova Scotia), but I've been in Ontario for about 13 years now. I will most likely stay in Ontario ..unless I win the lottery ..then I'll move somewhere warm
wow..there are a few GTA area mommies on here!

I love that we have some more Canadians now! There seems to be a bunch of us that live somewhat close to each other.

So you're like NEARLY Canadian. That's cool too. We don't mind granting some Americans from the northern reaches pseudo Canadian status. Most of the time, you get worse snow than we do from the lakes anyway!

Nearly Where I live now (up in the northern lower part of MI) we get a lot of snow. A foot of snow is not uncommon in one day's run. Where I grew up, a foot of snow is the most we normally get in the season. Right now there is no snow down there.

I'm in Phoenix, Arizona. We moved here to be near DH's family when we got married and my mom and sister also live out here now. The only way we would probably move away is if DH got promoted in his company to the point where he'd need to go out to California.
I was born in Georgia and since then lived in Virginia, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Georgia again, Alabama, Baltimore and then out here in Phoenix.

We joke here that we are in Canada
I was born in a smallish town in Northern Minnesota (Bemidji...Home of Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox)
I moved to the Twin Cities Metro for college and haven't really left....I know live in one of the northern Suburbs
If we could go anywhere it would be out West somewhere like Montana or Idaho, maybe Colorado

Grew up in Minnesota about 75 miles south of the Twin Cities all of our family live in the same general location. When Josh joined the Army we got sent to Texas and lived there for 6 years. Now we are in Washington been here for a year.
For us I think if we can get back to Texas we would like to. As much as MN is home to us both we are kinda over the cold. But who knows as of now we know we will either go to Texas when he gets out or back to Minnesota.

I lived in various places throughout Michigan until last April when we moved to Pennsylvania. I can see us moving back to Michigan eventually so that we can be closer to family. I miss being able to take the kids to Grandma's and Grandpa's for the weekend.

Wow some more Canadian mommas!
I'm from Brampton Ontario. North West of Toronto. I've lived here for the past 9 years. I did move around quite a lot in the past though. Grew up in Poland, moved to Germany when I was 9 and then came to Canada when I was 15.
We will probably stay in Brampton for a long time as my family is in the close vacinity. We were contemplating moving to Oshawa at one point, but I don't like being so far away from my mom and dad.
