Did you get everything done that you had planned over the weekend? Was it fun stuff or things you weren't looking forward to?
DH and I managed to get the kitchen cleaned, but we promptly messed it up again having friends over for dinner. We didn't really get much done at all this weekend because we ended up having to attend a funeral yesterday for a family friend. Hadn't realized it was planned for this weekend. I also got Ellie's crib moved out of our room and into her bedroom. She climbed right in when I set it up, but when it came time for bed, she screamed anytime I got near it with her. Moving her to her room is definitely going to be an ongoing process.

Got lots done, and then had a bit of fun too. My oldest friend came by for brunch and to see the new digs. So good seeing her. We haven't been able to visit like that in months.

Yep, I got some cleaning done. We had dinner with the ILs on Friday night which was interesting. Hubby and I had a fight on Sunday regarding what little he did this weekend (he took off this weekend from parenting and everything else and failed to inform me..lol)..... but other than that it was pretty good.

We went home to visit for dh's grams bday. It was great but we didn't get home until 11pm last night. I have no motivation to get anything done today...lol.
Oh yeah and guess what???? Dh ran out of gas on the highway in the mountains of PA where the nearest gas station was 6.1 miles up huge mountains. I thought I was going to kill him!!!! It was about 6 pm and really dark, he had to leave me and the kids on the highway and hitch a ride. This was so scary and freaked me out. Thank god the guy was nice but he was freaking drunk, dh didn't realize it until they were on their way back and the guy started backing down the highway because he missed the turnaround. Needless to say, I am going to AAA after I pick Lily up from school today, this will never happen again!!

Saturday was okay, did the usual. Just glad I didn't go out in the afternoon, because we had the worst ice storm and everyone was sliding all over the place and crashing.
Sunday sucked cause I was in bed all day with a stomach virus, so nothing got done.

WOW! That's terrible. Glad everybody is ok.
We had a really good weekend. We went up to the in-laws got Sophia settled/fed and then we went to dinner and a movie. Awwwww, it was so nice to eat in peace and slooooooowly. Usually I scarf my food down so I can take care of Sophia. This was great. Even had a beer. The movie was ok. We saw "Grey". And the next morning we had a great breakfast w/ the in-laws. Plus while we were there we didn't change a single diaper! MIL wanted to do it. LOL. It was a nice weekend.

Oh yeah it took everything I had not to freak out on him! He felt awful putting us in this situation but he doesn't ever pay attention to his gas. He has run out a few times, thankfully never with us. But I think this put things into perspective for him, he was totally freaked out when he got back to us.

I hate when dh pulls stuff like that, he sometimes thinks the weekends are just for him!

I would like to know how you take a weekend off from this stuff without making it a statutory holiday, and grinding the rest of the civilized world to a hault. Do you think he'd consider doing a guest post about it, share his secret with the rest of us? hahahaha
Woman, I'm surprised you're still married after that...then again, we all have our husbands to bear...don't we? LMAO.

Saturday we went grocery shopping. While the boys were napping we cleaned and organized our closet. Saturday night we went out to dinner and rented a movie at Redbox. Sunday we played outside in the little snow we got. Then we bathed the boys and then we went to church. While the boys napped I went to the gym. That's it. Nothing excited.

Congrats Sounds nice! We always buy a "new" used car, I hate buying new cars because the value goes down so quickly.
