What are some milestones your LO has reached lately?

The big one I've noticed lately is how fast Ellie's vocabulary has been growing. She is picking up new words like crazy! It's funny though, BIL was trying to get her to say his name Max over the weekend and she wouldn't say Max, but she would say geranium and point to the flowers!

That's awesome! Maggie's word explosion continues daily, though I'm almost ashamed to say a lot of what she's picking up lately are the naughty words.

We're working on teaching her how to listen, jump and do some other stuff. The physical stuff is usually later with her though anyway. Most of the time, she looks at us like we're mental patients...like, why in the world would you want to go jumping around for?

I can't barely say geranium...lol. My dogs name is Max, when Tommy tries to say it, it comes out ax. He is really starting to talk more, I'm just waiting for him to start speaking sentences.

Miranda's vocabulary is getting better too. She's also picked up the sign for 'more'. It's too cute to watch her showing me that she wants more cookies or lunch.
Oh and the latest achievement is to climb on chairs. There is no stopping her now.

I have no idea why all of London's milestones have to do with her blossoming personality...lol.. Her latest things are folding her arms when mad walking away, saying leave me alone and walking away and telling everyone to "MOVE"...lol..ok let me think of something more positive...

ummmm...she is also trying to jump which also looks like running in place..lol..its really cute and funny. She is also doing more animal noises.

Ditto with the expanding vocabulary. It's amazing to me how she picks up on things. We have a CD of childrens songs that we listen to every day and she knows them and dances to them. She also repeats words from the songs.

I taught her how to put food in the rabbits dish and the cat dish (different food of course) and she helps me feed the pets now. She always comes running when she hears the food bag crinkle.

And the other new thing she can do- while we were shopping I told her we need cat treats and pointed to the bag. She wasn't sure at first but then grabbed it and after I told her/pointed to put it in the cart- she threw it in. The rest of the shopping trip I gave her the items and she threw them in the cart. Such a big helper. LOVE this age!!!

Learning to put on her own clothes! She can't quite do it on her own but she gets really close and then I help her. I can't wait until I can say "Juliana, go put your pajamas on and get ready for bed." LOL.

She's now jumping all over the place. (I think she picked it up off of her sister.)

Her vocabulary is improving; mimicking and using context. I asked her if she wanted a bubble bath and she yelled, "Bubbles! Yayyyy!"

She's also mimicking in the bathroom, sitting down on the stool and then standing up to get some toilet paper off the spindle. I'm contemplating putting the potty chair in there for her to investigate.

I'm not sure if this is a milestone, but she's doing a little better with being around strangers. They can come up to her and talk to her- maybe even touch her, and she won't start crying!
