Secret board...requirements and such...

the new "secret" area to be...invite only or require a password?

I'm going to say invite, this way we can remove or add people if they are not meeting the requirements we set up. Invite only we know who is there, where a password we aren't sure.

Plus we need to set up the requirements, both secret boards will be gone by March 1st.

I am going to say requirements should be

member for 30days
150 posts on the july-august 2010 pr
be an active member and post atleast 5 times a week (20 per month)

What are your thoughts?

I like invite only and also the requirements you have said sound great to me.

How many people would qualify if we switched it on now? I think they are reasonable criteria, and I prefer invite only, but am wondering if the 150 post count might actually deny access to some long standing members of both playrooms.

Then again, with the chat war it may be a non issue.

I don't know who would qulalify right now. We have until the 1st. Maybe we can grandfather the regulars that have had 150 post on either board with the last 90 days, BUT they also have to be posting regualry in the new pr with the 20 post per month. Anyone not active as of March 1st that returns to either board, would have to gain the 150 post requirement in the new PR first???
