I think that's so cool. Who organizes soccer for kids her age in your area?

Neither of my boys are in any activities. We play with them at home, take them outside. My oldest colors and does play dough. We read books and wrestle and ride bikes, go to the park. Alex will start swimming lessons in April.

With Keira in school right now, we don't have anyone in activities. After school is just too hectic with dinner, reading with the kids, baths and getting ready for bed.

Keira loves to do activities, but we do that with her in the summer when she's on break. She loves dancing. We are looking to get her into gymnastics and swimming this year.

As for the other two, not sure. Maybe swimming too since they all love the water.

I wish I could find something like that around here, that is soo cool. Tommy loves to kick this musical soccer ball around the house. I think he would love a class like that.

Um...none at the moment. Levi is not an outdoor type of kid but we're looking into some sort of camp or activity this summer. For Lennon it will depend on what peaks his interest in a couple years. We do go to the park on nice days and Sundays usually involve family outings but nothing scheduled.

Right now she's not in any activities. We did do swimming last summer so I might do that again.

Yeah pretty much none. I am part of a playgroup type thing but I have to force myself to go to it for Rosie's sake. Otherwise we play at home and go to the park when we can which relates to when DH is home because.
Really though I won't start organized stuff like that till she is around 5. Then I want to do things like summer rec programs and girl scouts. And DH wants her to play the piano.

Oh Bree that's awesome you get to watch. I'm sure he'll be on his best behavior. They usually are for others. Tommy did a class similar at the Y but i had to participate. It was fun. I'm going to sign him up for something else the next session, not sure what yet.

i sure hope he listens to others, he often turns off his listening ears for me! I think it will be good for him to get to play with other kids his age too, and maybe i will make a mommy friend

it was pretty much the only baby program that didnt require parent participation, being alone with 2 babies during the day makes it pretty much impossible to do the parent participation classes

I know how you feel. I used to always be able to voulnteer at Lily's school and now I can't really do it all. I feel so bad! I try to do all the stuff that I can bring Tommy to but it is really hard to participate when you have 2 kids and no one to watch them.

The YMCA usually has swim classes that the parents can participate in.

They definitely overload on chlorine but I'm sure they have to due to all they people in the pool. It burns my eyes, we shower immediately afterward.
