Would you change anything about your birth experience with your LO?

Yeah that I didn't have pre-eclampsia for the second time and had to have an emergency c-section...ugh it sucked. Although I am so thankful that London was born healthy and my recovery wasn't to bad...It could have been alot worse.

I wish that Claire wouldn't have been breech so I could have had the natural delivery that I planned. Maybe the second time's the charm

I wish I wasn't put under general anaesthetic for the c-section (unexpected c-section, unexpected complication during surgery). Missing hearing her cry for the 1st time and seeing her when she first came into the world breaks my heart. Took awhile for me to get over not hearing her cry for the 1st time.

No I wouldn't. My entire labor from water breaking to Brendan arriving was only 3.5 hours and I got the natural delivery I wanted. I hope when we have #2 I am as blessed!

I wish it hadn't taken 4 attempts to get the spinal block to take.

Other than that, as much as everything before and after it stunk, it was the best moment in my life. I wouldn't change it for all the money in the world...and I'm ever so glad that I didn't have to go through labour on top of all the rest of it.

I am pretty happy how it all went down. I don't think I would change anything- but I also have nothing to compare it to.

I would have had him at home. Other than that, it was pretty perfect. About 3.5 hour labor, only at the hospital for 20 minutes before he was born, 2 minutes of pushing, no drugs, held him right away, delayed cord cutting. I'm pretty happy with both Eva and issacs birth experiences.
