How much, if any, tv does your LO watch? Which shoes?
I know it's supposed to be ideal not to do any tv at all before 2, but well, I have to cook some time. We watch one episode of Blues Clues each day. Juliana gets really into it and answers the questions the main guy, Steve, asks. She points at the screen why he asks where Blue is and that sort of thing. I'm not worried about it rotting her brain or any such thing.
Last week I decided to try a Disney movie, Cinderella. She did not have the attention span to watch the whole thing, but was kind of in and out. I noticed a huge difference between it and the interactive Blues Clues show. I think we're stopping with the movies for now, but we'll keep doing Blues Clues and when she gets a little older we may try Dora the Explorer.

we do sesame street and mickey mouse club house. that's really all she watches. We do have the TV on quite a bit, but usually she's colouring or doing something else and not really paying attention to it.

Isaac doesn't watch tv yet. My daughter watches one show in the morning (right now her favorites are Wild Kratts and Word Girl) but Isaac doesnt show any interest yet. We have family movie night about twice a month and he will sometimes watch a little bit of whatever movie we watch.
We dont have cable so the only thing the kids watch is PBS which are all educational shows and I don't really have to worry about content so that's nice.

I usually have Nick Jr on in the background a lot, but odds are she's in the other room reading a book or playing with toys. She'll wander in and out of the den, but a lot of the time she's not actually watching. She does love Dora, Diego, Yo Gabba Gabba, Blue's Clues, Team Umi Zoomi, and the music on Fresh Beat Band catches her attention, but she doesn't watch all of those in one day usually.

Claire gets to watch an episode of Clifford the Big Red Dog once in a while when I'm desperate for some Mommy time. We also have a video of kids singing Sunday School songs that she and I watch together sometimes (there are actions to go with most of the songs so I help her do them). Otherwise we just don't do TV.

She has never been a watcher, always moving! I DVR'd a Dora episode for the baby and she jumped around and pointed during the opening music but started playing in her toy box immediately after it stopped.
Her sister has always been attracted to the tv though. She'd watch Nick Jr and Sprout shows.

Maggie watches a fair bit. It's always on in the background - and almost always on disney jr. She knows all those shows. But she's like the others and is all over the place. It's amazing what she picks up though.
She has a good attention span with it too. She actually watched toy story 3 pretty much from beginning to end. We're a tech family. The TV is definitely a part of that. She also enjoys watching us play Zuma on the computer. And she types on keyboards with both hands using all fingers. Won't be long before she's navigating the mouse no doubt.

Not very much TV. If it is on it'll be PBS or Qubo. But movies are prefered, if anything at all that is. Movies like Berenstain Bears, Veggie Tales, Davey and Goliath, Prince of Eygpt, Joseph King of Dreams, Gummi Bears.

We have the TV on all day long. From the time she gets up to her first nap is on the Disney Channel. She is in and out mainly playing but her morning milk is while watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Weekends its probably on longer since DH is home and he likes some of the cartoons too..lol
We do a few movies but her attention span is about 15-30 minutes then she moves on.
