I drove my Beetle to work today so DH could take the Traverse and pick Ellie up this afternoon. Putting a toddler in a carseat in the back of a Beetle is an interesting experience.

I have a Commander and it's still a pain in the butt to get car seats in! Bishop is still RF and the passenger seat is moved up more then I am comfortable with. Then Gage is still harnessed which I'm glad about but when we discussed putting him in a booster we realized, we couldn't! Why? Because he'd have to be in the very back of the car and then neither of us would be able to help him get his seat buckled. And where he sits now is in between his brothers and he wouldn't be able to get his seat belt buckled there.

I love my Jeep but we really need a van.

Yeah, it was a tight squeeze. The front seat is moved all the way up. I love our Traverse. It's so much easier to get stuff in and out.

I really want a mini van. I just have to convince dh to get one.

Tommy has been sleeping for 2.5 hours, he must be a sleepy boy.

I really wanted to go to the gym today, I guess that's not happening with all this snow.

I have that weirdo husband who loves vans. He is trying to talk me into one of those big vans with the captain chairs, the full size vans. I keep telling him right now no haha.

It's me who keeps wanting to put it off. I think I'm just that in love with my Jeep.

lol. I wanted a mini-van, but DH talked me into the Traverse because it's more like a truck. We had a full size van when I was a kid and it was awesome!

Our Traverse fits 7 and the very back seat folds into the floor so you can haul cargo if you need to. (I sound like a Chevy commercial. lol)

We have a mini van and I love it. But, my DH is the one who really wanted it and had to talk me into it. Never in my life did I see myself driving a mini van but now I would never go back.

I really liked the Traverse. Dh and I looked at them a couple of years back and almost bought one. We only had one child then, I wish I could go back and buy something bigger.

We want to have 1, maybe 2 more kids, so we wanted to get something that would last through that. Plus we have some local friends that we hang out with and we figured it would be nice if most of us could all fit in one car when we go out together so we only need 1 designated driver.

My Commander fits 7 but car seats? Nope, it would work great if we didn't have car seats.

I think derek would rather have a sportier looking vehicle than a van, but it will be a few years before we buy another car anyways, i think we can fit 3 across if we use radians, so were buying them for the boys in the spring

Yeah, the Traverse looks more like an SUV and it's built on a truck body so it was manly enough for Jesse. haha!

You can get it with bucket seats in the middle row and it will seat 7, or ours actually seats 8, now that I think about it, lol, because the middle row is a full row.
