We got slow last month! Let's see if we can get this thread up to 1000 this month. Ready, go!

I'm kind of bummed today because I was supposed to go to a math training I was really looking forward to, but my sub cancelled, so I couldn't go.

We have to put our absence into the computer system and then the subs sign up to take the jobs. On Friday when I checked, I had a sub signed up but she cancelled over the weekend, I guess. Sometimes when that happens, they will just split up my kids among the other kindergartens for the day, but this was a training for 7 teachers and only 3 subs showed up, so we split one class and then a couple of us just couldn't go.

That stinks! I'm sorry, I have a friend who subs, some of the teachers request her specifically, other than that I really don't know how it works.

Lily got sent home from school sick, of course she is bouncing of the walls now.

Oh no! I guess it's good that she's feeling better, but it'd be nice for her to feel better at school.

She was bouncing her way to my car, her teacher sent her to the nurse because she looked pale. Well of course she soaked that up for every bit of it's worth.

lol. I wish our nurse would send kids home for looking pale. She sends them back to our classroom even if they're throwing up if the parents say they don't want to come get them.

Our nurse has a germ phobia, seriously she sends home flyers about germs and hand washing. And not to send your child to school with the slightest sniffle. Trust me I have no issues picking my kid up if they are truely sick and would never send her if she was ill.

I have to grocery shopping tonight, because I didn't go yesterday as I was not feeling good. I hate going during the week. Luckily we don't need much at all. I'll wait until the weekend to do the big shopping trip though. And my back hurts today..ugh..

Well she was sent to the nurse because she looked pale. But of course Lily went along with it and said she had a headache. She didn't even complain to her teacher, she just thought she needed to see the nurse. Soo annoying.

I was supposed to go today but dh has my debit card...AGAIN! He really needs to get his replaced. So I'll go tonight when he gets home. Atleast I'll get to go alone.

Wow. I never send my kids to the nurse without them asking unless I can tell they are really out of it or I check them and they feel really warm. I need to hit Costco, but I have class until 6:30 tonight so I'll probably be going tomorrow right after school when I pick up Ellie.

My son just dumped a whole entire bag of gold fish all over the living room floor. Atleast he is trying to pick them up....

Man, now I really want some goldfish. We started a new diet last week and until next Monday, we're only allowed fruits and vegetables for snacks.

It's a good thing I have class tonight and I'm not going shopping or I'd come home with all sorts of goldfish now. Lol! I'm annoyed though cause I can't find my homework folder and I wanted to catch up on my homework before class. Hopefully I left it at home or in the other car.

I hate dishes too! The only thing that makes them halfway bearable is if I'm using rubber gloves. My poor fingernails can't hold up against the "elements" and chip/flake/break too easily without them!

--------
We have the cookies and cream goldfish crackers! I'll have to try the smores version next

-------

edited to add: I didn't get to go shopping either- now I have to wait till Wednesday! Too bad the sales I had lined up with my coupons probably won't still be going The store's sales change on Wednesday!
