DH and I are going on a REAL date tonight! A real date...no Tag-Along Toddler I can't believe we haven't done it since she was born...that's kind of sad. Anyway, we're going to do a little shopping and then go out to dinner, and I'm really looking forward to eating a hot meal that I didn't cook and that I don't have to clean up after. Plus, I won't be cutting smaller bites for anyone else...it will be heaven

Thanks, ladies! It was wonderful. We did a little window shopping for the babies and then sat down to a nice, long, delicious dinner. Here is what I ate: bread, fresh squeezed apple juice, macaroni-and-cheese bites, green pea hummus with bread, lamb chops, asparagus, truffle mashed potatoes, and for dessert I had pecan pie with ice cream. The restaurant was tremendous...everything was fresh and locally sourced, and it was SO delicious. DH and I were able to have uninterrupted conversation and flirt over dinner...we haven't done that forever.

We both agree that we can't wait another 21 months to do this again...we're going to have to get out more!
