Anyone planning on going this route? DH wants to do disposable pull-ups, which makes no sense to me!

Miranda has started to be aware of when she pees and poos. She'll grab her bum and say 'bum'. The babysitter has caught her 2 days in a rol land took her to the toilet and she pooped in the toilet. Usually when she tells me it's already too late. Once she has been doing this consistently for a few days/weeks I will put her in underwear. I used to do the pull ups but honestly they are good for when you are on the road, but if you are training at home they just confuse things.
With pee, my kids caught on really fast, and it only took them a few days of 'getting wet' before they started peeing o nthe toilet. With pull ups, if you have kids like mine, they don't really care if they get wet, because the diaper will soak some of the stuff up.
I've already noticed that Miranda doesn't like it if she gets wet. One time her diaper leaked and she had this horror look on her face and was walking like she had crap in her pants. LOL

I hate pull ups. I won't be doing the training pants either. We will go into full force potty training when he is ready, I figure we'll hit it at the same age as my other 2 boys

I'm not planning on doing training pants either. But, if we do end up needing them, I'll be doing cloth and I'll make my own. I don't plan on potty training until he's closer to 3 years old unless he start showing obvious signs before then.

I'm not sure what we'll do. Ellie has been letting us know if she's about to poop so she's pooped in the potty probably 5 out of the last 7 days. She peed in the potty too yesterday so we may not end up doing any kind of training pants at all.

We are in the middle of potty training, and Jr does really good in just regular boys briefs. Like the others have said, if we put him in pull ups, he doesn't really care if he wets them.
