I almost feel like a failure because my son needs to go back to the dentist next week. I took him for a cleaning the other day and afterwards the dentist said that he has a cavity. Now his picture has to come down from the "No cavity club". I feel so bad for him and I wonder what to give him if he gets a headache or doesn't feel well afterwards.

Just give him some tylenol OR motrin. Dont feel bad..it happens...its hard to get the brush all the way down into those deep crevices! Both of mine had to have silver crowns put on because their cavities were so bad!

I agree. Don't feel bad! It happens. Madeleine hasn't been to the dentist in almost a year (eep), so I just know she's going to have a cavity when we go there next month.

Corey had his 1st one filled last month. He didn't get any laughing gas or novacaine. He didn't even cry! I felt bad but as Cindy said it's hard with all those crevices
