Here is a link to the lesson today! (I know I'm a few weeks behind, I'm trying to catch up.)

Thank you to the wonderful ladies who mad the blinkies!

"The Lord compensates the faithful for every loss. That which is taken away from those who love the Lord will be added unto them in His own way. While it may not come at the time we desire, the faithful will know that every tear today will eventually be returned a hundredfold with tears of rejoicing and gratitude..... These experiences, while often difficult to bear at the time, are percisely the kinds of experiences that stretch our understanding, build our character and increase our compassion for others."

That was our lesson last week This week we did Priesthood Organization and it was utterly fascinating.

The one thing I am struck by with the Priesthood lesson is I am really glad I am a woman and don't have the priesthood. It's such a responsibility. One thing the teacher said is she's often had trouble separating the priesthood itself with the men who hold the priesthood. I thought that was poignant. The priesthood is a really neat thing, really. I've certainly been blessed having a father and husband who hold it, especially since we all live in one house so we have two Melchizedek Priesthood holders easily available. It blows my mind that one day I'll have three sons and a son-in-law who also hold the Priesthood. What a blessing! Cameron'll be a Deacon in just over 3 years. Crazy.
