I'm glad to have found this forum! I am Wendy from Illinois, I am 29 (30 in Feb.), I've been married six very happy years to Brad, and we have a two-year old ds, Mason. We are expecting our second child (after two miscarriages last year) in August and we are very excited! So far so good with this pregnancy! My dr. thinks the two miscarriages were just chromosomal problems and just flukes. Anyway, I was extremely overweight when I was pg. with my ds and I had a perfect pregnancy and after having him, I lost 30 lbs. and was doing well until I had the first miscarriage. I almost had myself under control when I had the second one. I just went downhill from there, gaining everything back, until I was back to almost 300 lbs. I got pg. again and although I wish I had lost more weight before getting pg. again, I'm so overjoyed to be pg. that it doesn't matter anymore. I plan on going back to my weight loss after this baby, though, mainly for health reasons. Thanks for reading! I look forward to getting to know everyone!
Welcome Welcome! I'm expecting my first in August. I was dieting all the way up until I found out I was pregnant. So, it really sucks to see the scale go in the other direction. I wish I was lighter when I got pregnant but what can you do!
