Well, if you're far enough along I've heard the first flutters described as butterfly wings or worms squirming around down there I'm 16 weeks today and have been feeling what I THINK is baby just the past few days now.
Otherwise... back when I was 8-9 weeks or so my stomach would twitch alot for some reason! It could just be that
I had something similar early on, felt kind of like a muscle tick or something. I always figured it was due to the uterus dealing with suddenly having an occupant And it was occuring before I was able to actually feel baby movement.
yes, ive been having twitchy feelings too, but i am realy realy early in my pregnancy, i havnt had 1st appointment with midwife yet so i dont really know how far i am and my current ticker goes off my dr's estimation....Anyways, i think they are just bubbles or something lol but it does feel like somethings moving around in there, and i get all exited then realise my baby isnt even 1cm long yet so it can't be!
It is probably your uterus streching. Most people call them ligament pains. I have been getting them a lot lately (especially if I move wrong). I did have a flutter last week and it was completely different than the ligament pain. The flutter was more like gas/a butterfly in your tummy (but the gas goes away a lot faster). The ligament pain (for me) feels more like a sharp stabbing feeling.
