The test went beautifully! When I first got there they had me sit in this huge over stuffed chair. First they checked my BP (148/80) and they did a reallllly quick ultrasound to check my fluid level. The first thing I asked was "Can you see if she has hair?" and she said "This machine is too weak to see that most of the time..." and then she put the thing on my belly and once she found her head (which is down!) she goes "Wow! this little girl has a TON of hair! I have only ever picked up hair maybe a handful of times and I have been here for 13 years!" I am SO EXCITED! (I had really bad heartburn, it was my very first symptom at 6dpiui!)
Then she measured my fluid - which came in at 17 (perfect!). The nurse told me they like it to be between 8 and 24, so 17 is literally just about perfect
Then they hooked me up to the monitor - the contraction one was out of control (I wasn't contracting that I know of, but according to the monitor I had one 20 minute long out of control contraction...she said she will get it calibrated before my next NST on Tuesday! )...and Brylie's heart was perfect! It did the two flucuations they look for in the first 7 minutes! So for the last 13 we just got to sit there and relax! The nurse told me Brylie is the happiest, healthiest baby she has seen all week

I am so relieved!!!

no they didnt say anything about my BP. I only see my midwife on Tuesdays so I'm sure they will say somthing about it then. I did say before she took it "its probably going to be high because I am nervous!" I wish they would have taken it post NST

Yep nerves will definitely make it high,if they were concerned they probably would have taken it again to be sure it went down, so they probably attributed it to your nerves, I so hope they will let you off bedrest gal

my midwife said she probably wont let me off bedrest at this point because of the amount of protein in my urine. i am only on day two (and most of it was spent at the dr office) and im going nuts...i cant handle this!!!

I am glad to hear that the NST went well. I had to have them 2 times a week from 32 or 34 weeks and I loved getting to see my little one and hearing her jump around.
