I had this happen to me when I was pregnant. I was 6 months and barley showing but I was wearing maternity clothes. I went to see some old friends of my mothers when we did her memorial and I started talking about being pregnant and this lady said "oh you are pregnant.... I didnt even know" now at the time I didnt think anything of it but after I was like wow people must really think I am fat!!!!! another simular thing happend it was 2 weeks before I gave birth and I was at a fast food resturant and I went to ask something and the cashier asked "are you pregnant?" I was like ummmm YES!!!!! I am due in 2 weeks!!!!!! I was mad at that statedment. But I got over it and actually forgot about it until I read this post. lol If you get this question dont let it bother you people are dence. I mean people still ask if my daughter is a boy when she is wearing a dress and has her ears pierced and she has hair too. so like i said if you get that dont worry about it.
Yes, I had that happen with my first pregancy (this is my 2nd) - I was like 6 months along before I was showing "good" - then at the end people were like "gosh you are big"!!! I told myself right then and there that I didn't care how big I though another pregnant woman was that I would NEVER make her feel that way!!! I was like "I am 9 months pregnant"!!!!
I am suppose to be big.
Yep, you just never know how people are going to react. I don't think they intentionally mean to hurt our feelings - they just do.
well, i'm at the end of my second trimester and i was pretty big to start out with but i'm showing significantly, even for my size. i have people asking me all the time when i'm due and a lot of them say, gosh you're big for being due in july. my reply: thanks, i'm growing my baby pretty good in there. some people just don't realize that they may hurt our feelings when they say something like that so i just shrug it off. since i became pregnant, i've learned not to listen to every comment or opinion everyone else has.
