Hey everyone..I'm a Plus Sized mommy (5ft 6,215lbs,size 18) and I was thinking about getting a "Bella Band" in a month or two..I want one because I just want my belly to look smooth and round and I kind of want to give it a "lift" since mine is kinda saggy at the bottom (gross I know lol)..just wanted to know if it really gives this effect or not..on the website it just says the purpose of it is so u can basically wear un-buttoned pants during pregnancy. Also..the cost is $28.00 plus $5.00 s&h I'm a cheap person lol so I think it's expensive..just wanted to know if u all thought it was worth it..if u know of any cheaper "copy cat" versions let me know..thanks!

I used a band but just to make sure I could wear my non-maternity pants for as long as possible. I had some really unflattering under belly area. But when I moved into maternity pants, I got the pants that had the waistline that was under my boobs, and those seemed to make the top part of my belly look better. (And wearing empire waist tops)

If you get one make sure you can try them on! I got a plus sized one and it's way too big. Waste of money IMO. The secret fit belly at motherhood maternity are all I need.

I got the one from target (and steered towards the smaller size). I am normally an XL but got a large band.

I was wondering about those too! I'm hoping to wear my jeans as long as I can!

I have had mine since I got pg with DS 6 years ago. I like it. I was only able to use it in the beginning of the pregnancy to keep my pants up. Towards the middle and end it just didnt work. I still wore it to make my belly look smoother since I still had the crease around my belly button for a while.

I went and purchased one and I got the Plus size at Motherhood and it was too big! yaY! So I have to take it back and get an XL. I'm amazed at how the clothes are so big at Motherhood, makes me feel good!

Jeni, what size clothes do you wear? I'm sure I'm going to want to buy one and since you said the plus size was too big and I don't have one of those stores near me, I'm not sure what I should aim for... I was just about to go to a size 22 jeans before getting pregnant. So I guess when I'm looking for maternity stuff I should go with like a size 24 in pants?
