Urghh... I am having a feel sorry for myself night.
I just cannot control myself. I do well during the day, get a workout done, but then as soon as afternoon hits I go downhill.
I am feeling so crappy right now about myself. I feel like my husband looks at me and just thinks I am gross and all I do is eat cookies all day (he probably doesn't, but sometimes I think maybe he does).
So... does anyone have any tricks for being motivated? What motivates you??
If it was me, I'd look at why I was crashing in the afternoon. Are you getting enough sleep? Eating a filling enough lunch? Bear in mind if you work out in the morning you may need more calories at lunch - of healthy things of course.
Something I've tried when I've been trying to lose weight is having a drink of water when I feel hungry before eating anything. Sometimes you're just thirsty, and the body registers it as hunger.
Other than that the extreme measure would be to not have cookies in the house and just have healthy snacks to reach for.
