What are your hopes and dreams for the coming... let's say.... 15 years?

How old will you be then, and how old will your children be?

I had to think long and hard about this one. I am a very goal oriented person. I love to think about what I want in my life and think about what it will take to get there.

So, in 15 years I will be 43. Avery will be 16, I will probably also have a 13 year old and a 10-11 year old. Maybe even an 8 year old too. My children will be in school full time. I hope that my husband is working a job that he enjoys with a regular schedule and has a good work/life balance, or that he is farming full time.

I hope that we will have built our dream home on DH's land and that we have the yard developed and nicely landscaped.

I hope that I will either:
1) Be doing my bookkeeping still and be making good money doing it
or
2) Have my masters degree done and working part time or maybe 3/4 time in a job that is fulfilling to me.

I hope that my children are all happy and healthy without weight problems. I hope that they do well socially and are involved in a lot of extra-cirricular activities and sports.

I hope I will have taken the time to develop my hobbies further, like quilting and writing. Maybe I will have written a novel.

I hope that we are on track with our savings for retirement at 55-60.

In 15 years I will be 48. Stella will be 19 and Duncan will be 15. Wow, that seems sooo far away!

I hope at the point I have my degree or I am at least working on it. I want to be settled in our "forever" house and have that as our only large debt.
