thinning hair
either hot or cold all the time
inability to either gain or lose weight
feelings of exhaustion all the time

Those are the only ones I know. The symptoms are just the opposite for hypothyroidism as for hyperthyroidism (for example, with one you won't be able to lose weight, with the other you won't be able to gain it)

gee i have all those symptoms and Dr. said i didn't have it.
My hair looks thick because it's curly but it is so thin when wet especially on top, i am either too hot or too cold-rarely comfy, well i gain weight but it is slowly (well some what) and losing is impossible, i am tired all the time, i'm actually asking the Dr. on the 8th at Liv's appt. about possibly getting some kind of energy, wake me the h*** up pill. I could literally sleep all day. Dr. thinks it's just cuz i'm over weight. Dh calls it wright-ititous (wright is my maiden name) cuz most of my siblings are the same way. we could fall asleep standing up.

anywho, Dr. says no for me but maybe i'll have to inquire. ??

yeah me too. My mom told me to get it checked out but I don't know. I hate how docs always make you feel dumb and like you shouldn't be there or like you are hypochondriac. BTW I have to get my gall bladder out on Thurs. so if you are praying people please pray. I know it is minor surg. but I am deathly afraid of surg. Not as bad as before I had my son. but any way what I mean by all that is that I wasn't even going to go to the doc for the pain of the gall bladder but hubby drug me in there I am so glad he did they said that it can get way worse and affect other organs. Man what a wake up maybe I will change my mind about how I feel about going to the doc. Lol.
any who.....

I had my gall bladder out after my first was born. I didn't hesitate at all to go to the dr.
It wasn't bad at all, all i have is 4-1 inch scars and I was back to work as soon as i got home. but i do heal fast, a co-worker told me i shouldn't be there, that i could open my incisions but it's been 7 yrs and nothings popped open yet.
