Hi Willow and all my other old buddies on here! I do keep up with many of you on FB, so I don't feel too "out of the loop"! I am doing well! Teaching grade 6 Special Ed all day and enjoying my "not so little anymore" little ones at night! Jake is of course turning 4 on the 15th and Sophia is 19 months! They are the best of friends and it really warms your heart to see them interact sometimes but then other times, they are the worst of enemies!! LOL Sibling drama

Jake is doing terrific in pre-school and his behavior is improving greatly! Sophia seems to be a little behind in her speech, but that is attributed to all her ear issues. She got tubes in June and has been infection free ever since!

Things with Greg and I are good. Its pretty stressful to both work full time and have 2 little ones as many of you know. It gets the better of us sometimes, but we're making it!

There is H1N1 in my school, which kind of freaks me out....but its everywhere at this point. Just a fact of life now, I suppose.

For Halloween Jake was a skunk and Sophia was a Disney Princess. They thoroughly enjoyed it all So fun!

Oh, and we're having a bowling party for Jake! It'll be his first time, but I think the whole extended family would have a good time...something different!

As many of you know, I cheered for a semi-pro football team this summer/fall. It was great to do something I love again and to get some "me" time. I was able to get back into shape a bit....but have slacked off again in the off season! LOL I'll probably cheer again next season!

So sorry this is scattered but I am trying to type super fast, getting it all in...gotta go get ready for work!! LOL

Miss you all;0)
Kelly

It sounds like things are going well! Good for you for taking some me time and doing the cheering. How do you like 6th graders? I taught sixth grade for three years in an elementary school, and my last class was so horrible I vowed I would never teach elementary again, and I went on to middle school where at least I could switch classes. Well, I am back in elementary but sooo glad to not be a regular classroom teacher...

We have H1N1 at my school too. Ours was the first in NE CT to have confirmed cases... Tony's school has it too. We hope to escape it, but I feel it is almost inevitable we get it. I hope you guys stay healthy.

Thanks for the update. I follow you on FB, but it isn't the same KWIM.

It's great to "hear" from you on here, Kelly! I'm glad everything is going so well for you! I can't believe Sophia is 19 months old already.
That's great about the cheering thing, it sounds fun and great for some "you time"!
I hope you come back even if it isn't too often. We miss you around here!
