I have NEVER gone through crayons like I do now!! Every year right after school starts, I stock up on all the school supplies....especially crayons. I almost always buy Crayola...usually the basic, but I try to buy the fat Crayons too (they are harder to break). However, my kids figure it out. Right now I have an old Ice Tea container that was cleaned out and all their BROKEN crayons are in there.

That is what I give them. I gave Nicholas a brand new box of crayons the other (I love the feeling of a brand new box...don't you?)...halfway through is coloring session the other boys came in and the box was torn to shreds, crayons flew. I still don't know where half of them are. Some were broken (I believe I just swept them up). So they will just have to use the broken stubby crayons until they stop this madness.

All of Em's supplies are stored in pencil cases and she has two plastic bins on her bookshelf that contain all her craft supplies.
