When your toddler colors, do they get to use an entire box of crayons?? Just a few? A couple boxes combined?

How do you store your crayons? In the original box? Shoe box? Wipe box? Etc?

I have NEVER gone through crayons like I do now!! Every year right after school starts, I stock up on all the school supplies....especially crayons. I almost always buy Crayola...usually the basic, but I try to buy the fat Crayons too (they are harder to break). However, my kids figure it out. Right now I have an old Ice Tea container that was cleaned out and all their BROKEN crayons are in there. That is what I give them. I gave Nicholas a brand new box of crayons the other (I love the feeling of a brand new box...don't you?)...halfway through is coloring session the other boys came in and the box was torn to shreds, crayons flew. I still don't know where half of them are. Some were broken (I believe I just swept them up). So they will just have to use the broken stubby crayons until they stop this madness. All of Em's supplies are stored in pencil cases and she has two plastic bins on her bookshelf that contain all her craft supplies.

Ugh. Amber gets crayons for Christmas. Bad idea LOL. I didn't realize they'd go missing as quickly as they did. AND I didn't know they would be Grace's favourite "food".
BUT to answer the question, she gets to use the whole pack when she colours.

I also buy the washable crayons... LOVE them!!!! They can be washed off with a diaper wipe!

I have all of his art supplies stored in plastic bins, and his crayons are in a plastic pencil case that kids use in Elementary school to keep all their writing stuff, scissors and glue.

Ben hates coloring. Always has. We have tons of colors, but they've barely been touched. He'll use them on math assignments or something for school, but that's it. They're stored in a little storage container (I've got all of his school stuff in rubbermaid boxes so I can find things easily).

I have about 4-5 boxes of crayons dumped into a clear shoebox. I keep thinking that is way toooooo many crayons to let Ava and Lucas use, but alas, I do nothing.
