Anyone (or your hubby) know much about laptops?
I'm getting one next week and think I've narrowed my choices down to two different ones if I don't change my mind again.
Any suggestions? Are these good laptops? I know nothing about computers..lol So any advise would be great!!

#1 Toshiba - Satellite Laptop with Intel® Core™ i3 Processor - Quantum Black

#2 Toshiba - Satellite Laptop with Intel® Core™ i7 Processor - Quantum Black

I would go for #2 personally. Processor is better.

I get Consumer Reports and they rated the Toshiba Satellite A505-S6960 a best buy-which is their rating for models that have the best combination of performance and price.

It isn't exactly the model you are looking at, so I am not sure what the difference is.

Good luck!

I don't know anything about the models you are looking at but I have a Sony Vaio and it's going great - gets used mulitple times a day and is going strong, plus plenty of features.

I'm not familiar with the model either. We have a Toshiba laptop (L300?) and it's been dropped on the floor tons of times (thanks to my girls lol), but it's got a crack in the outer shell and is missing a screw on the inner part, so the screen is wobbly but for it to have been dropped sooo many times and still work perfectly seems to be pretty good to me lol. Good luck on your decision!
