and everything is fine. It is just some kind of excess of glandular tissue due to breastfeeding. I wasn't really too worried but sitting in the waiting room it kind of struck me that I could get bad news. The doctor took an hour to see me so fortunately the nurse told me that everything looked ok when she did my vitals, or I would have probably got myself all freaked out. I have to go for another u/s in 6 months just to keep an eye on it. Otherwise I can forget about it.

I am so glad that you found out that everything is ok. What a relief. I have heard that nursing gives some level of protection from breast cancer...ever hear that?

Yes, I had heard your risk of getting breast cancer is significantly lower if you have nursed. Also we don't have a family history so I figured the odds were in my favour.

I can't imagine the panic that went through you through all of this. I am SOOOOOO SOOOO relieved everything is a-okay. I am glad they will keep an eye on it but you can sigh some relief for the time being. Phew!
