No, because they're "always hungry". Case in point... Daniel snuck into the pantry today and ate a 1/2 box of Cheez-Its Party Mix before I realized what he was doing. He's done the same with the Halloween bowl twice.
No, except for the milk jug. As long as it is less than half way TJ can pour it for himself. We let them drink as much milk as they like. I can see letting them choose snacks when they are older. I will just make sure they know what they can have. Right now, they wouldn't make the right portion choices. And we don't have a lot of snackable food. I don't buy prepackaged snacks, so I would have to put some effort into making sure there were things available...
Same here too. It's a no. I'll let them get something out with my permission and then I will put the correct portion in a bowl/plate. If I let them have free reign, they would eat all.day.long.
No, the kids can reach them...but they must ask first....and I always put them in bowls. Otherwise they would eat all day long too....and supper wouldn't happen.
Ethan will sneak mini boxes of raisens though....but that's about it.
