I am still here. Can't come to terms with the fact that we are done. At my F/U appt the OB said not to make any rash decisions while still grieving. I have low-dose BCPs for now but DH wants to book the big V. I know I can't go thru the emotional turmoil that I have gone thru twice this year but it is hard to let go of hope. (Guess I am not doing so great right now.)

I just can't understand how people can make the decision to be done and be okay with it. I am so NOT okay.

Aww, big hugs Karen. I don't understand how people get to their done point either, but I agree with your doctor. Don't do anything too permanent until you are 99.9% sure you can't do it again, or don't want to do it again. Is an IUD an option for you?

I'm so sorry you're having a hard time sweets.

I'm still here.

I actually have an update : we have made a decision about trying again. We will try once more because I have been thinking a lot about my RE and she is one of the more proactive REs I've ever heard of, and I KNOW that for the next pregnancy/conception she will do everything to help us. If I miscarry again, THEN we will move on to adoption, because we're going to give it the best shot possible with the RE.

I plan on going to see her sometime after the New Year, possibly to start injectibles (for better ovulation quality) in Feb or March.

That's great news Lex! I'm so happy that you're feeling a little more at peace and ready to give it another shot. I have all my digits crossed that next year brings you the ultimate gift.
