I am going to get my deposit sent in for a Bradley birthing class but it won't start until the beginning of the third trimester.

Lots of other things on my mind, like buying gear, registering, researching pediatricians-but it seems a little early still. At the same time though, I'm afraid towards the end I will be overwhelmed with tasks!

What baby related tasks are on your "to do" for the next couple of weeks?

Just to buy more stuff. We have a 3 bedroom house, so we just decided on getting bunk beds for our boys , they are 2.5 and 5. I think they are old enough to share a room so we can turn the other room into a nurser.. I have never had a nursery with either kids so I am really excited. I have to buy all the goodies first though. We already have a great pediatrician so we are good to go on that, I registered the first week I found out I was pregnant. But I also update it online every now and again.

Painting and decorating DS new room that he moved into (our old room) in the John Deere Tractor theme that I promised him (he is a farm boy!)

Then getting baby bedding and decorating the nursery (already painted the room and have the crib set up, the dresser moved in and my dad built the corner changing table, but just need to get that from him. He is very handy and saved me a ton of money on it!)

I registered a couple weeks ago only because someone said I should! I don't plan on having a shower with this baby, but don't know if anyone plans on throwing me one.

Have all the baby stuff, we do not know what this peanut is yet, but we have both girl and boy cloths. Just have to finish the addition and build a room, finish that room, then paint baby room and set up

Now that I bought a dresser for the boys' room I can organize the stuff better. I wasn't happy with how crammed the closet seemed when I moved things.

After our trip next month we are going to start working on getting our almost 2 year old into the bottom bunk so the baby's crib/room can be ready to go.

still working on the nursery....gotta find a place for all the stuff that was STORED in there before need to make a trip to Goodwill to drop off a ton of stuff....

Have been organizing baby clothes trying to figure out what we'll still need. Evan is SET for 0-3 months, but doesn't have many "around the house" clothes past that....a couple outfits, but def. not enough unless I want to do laundry every couple of days

I have to preregister with the hospital by 20 weeks so that's coming up SOON! I also want to schedule a hospital tour

Get moved. Probably no baby stuff until that gets done.

I'm checking craigslist like a maniac though, and occasionally find something to email about - like the twin breastfeeding pillow for $25 we're picking up on Thursday when we go to the doctor's. Mostly I'm keeping my eyes out for cloth diapers, and getting a tentative list in my head so that after we move I can make a real list.

But for me, all that stuff that's too early for everyone else, I need to do earlier - like a lot of it if not all of it by 28 weeks.

Nothing for the next couple weeks. Getting a toddler bed set up for Finn was the biggest thing and now that that is done -- Next month I need to get him a 2nd car seat so we have one to keep in my car and one for DH's truck. We already have his infant car seat still (the kind that snaps into the base, and two bases) so that'll be easy for the new little one.

Otherwise, July I've got a list of things to pick up: milk storage bags for storing pumped milk, to check all my pump parts and get replacements in needed, breast pads for leakage (if I don't need them before then!) -- little things.

August: pack for the hospital! lol.

September: have baby!

(And yes, my calendar that lines all this out does include a note for September: Have baby).

What do I need to do? Ummmm...EVERYTHING!!!!!

I need to get my preggo butt in gear and clear out the spare room so we can start working on the nursery. I haven't looked into childbirth classes yet. I don't have a pediatrician yet. I'm still trying to get in touch with the proper person at the district office my maternity leave.

As of right now, my child has three bibs and a teddy bear outfit. It's embarrassing! I'm so far behind the rest of you.

I'm waiting until I know what this baby is. I did a few things on my registry, but that is all so far.

We are moving our guest room from upstairs to down to the extra room in the basement since Jacob refuses to share a room with baby. I still need a room for when my mom crashes over. We will have to repaint the upstairs second bedroom (it has green and cream stripes right now and I want a more "girly" nursery (I don't even know the sex of this baby yet and I can't stop saying girl).

After we swap the furniture, then we need to start from scratch and buy everything. We have absolutely nothing baby-wise.

So overwhelming to think about so I haven't

I'll probably just wait until the school year is over in 9 weeks before I do anything.

Find out the sex of this baby in 3 weeks!!! If it's a boy... we'll be shopping for boys' clothes galore!

In the next few months we want to get Alex transitioned to her toddler bed. That'll be interesting for sure.

If the baby's a girl, we seriously won't need to buy anything between everything I have from Alex and my 9 month old niece. We are up to our eyeballs in pink here.

Big items we still do need to purchase are 2 dressers (I want matching dressers for Alex and new baby) so that will be over the summer sometime.

I have to preregister with the hospital here by 27 weeks and they want a copy of my birth plan then too.

Hospital tour I'll probably do around 35ish weeks.

Washing baby clothes and sterilizing bottles (that reminds me I need to buy new nipples) will happen around 35-36 weeks. DH is a pro at installing the infant carseat base (same one from Alex... we moved her out of it about 3-4 months ago) now so I won't worry about that until the very end because I have 2 carseats in my backseat right now and don't want to have to mess with them and move them around until the very last minute.

And somewhere in there I plan on crocheting a few baby blankets for new baby (and maybe one for DD for her toddler bed?) and SIL and I want to tackle some baby craft projects depending on the gender of the baby.
