So had an ultrasound today - I get weekly bio-physicals done and baby Jackson has been doing perfectly...

The doc asked me today when the last time I had a weight check done - I told her around 30 weeks... at that time they estimated Jackson at 4 1/2 lbs...

So today I am 34 weeks and 4 days --- Jackson did fabulous again and he is weighing in + or - a pound............ 6lb 13 oz (according to calculations)...

GOOD LORD --- The question of the day --- what is he going to weight at birth when he is taken via c-section at 37 weeks...

Could you imagine what he would weigh if I went to 40 weeks ---

So for you other mommas --- what are you estimates of baby at this time: weeks & weight?

Wow! He may hit that 9 pound mark if he went to 40 weeks I bet he's in the mid 7's, though for the c-sec. Who knows! He could surprise us and be near 8 by then already!

I haven't had a weight guess in a while... I need to ask about that I know he's measuring 2 weeks bigger, but that, I think, is based on bone size, so possibly length as well.

Hmmm...At 35wks, I was given an estimated weight of 7lbs 11oz...so I bet your little man will be right around the same size as mine. I say 8-9lbs, at least.

I have a U/S on the 20th. I can't wait to see how big Layla is. At my 30 wk they were estimating she was 4 lbs 10 oz.
DON'T worry, my biggest baby, Kaiya my 3rd, was estimated 8 lbs 12 oz at 36 wk u/s and was 10 lbs at 38 weeks. So it could be worse LOL

This really doesn't surprise us as Emmie weighed 9lb 7.8 oz at birth... I don't know what it is with my husband and his side of the family but good Lord their genes produce some big babies... My BIL (his brother) and his wife had Ava 4 months after Emmie was born and she weighed in at 9lb 5oz...

So we were prepared for a 10lb baby to begin with so this is definitely going to interesting...

I hear ya, my grandma had small babies, but my mom had big ones, 9.7, 9.13, and 10.4
My husband "blesses" our children with nice HUGE shoulders. So I get a double whammie. Lucky me.
My kids were 8.12, 9.11, 10 0.3 ( at 38 wks) and 9.1

Hoping and praying my little man has put on weight. at 29weeks he weighed 2lbs13 then exactly a week later weighed 4lbs2... brilliant gain thought i'd be having a big boy for sure (just like his daddy!)....I had a scan on Friday past at 34weeks... 4lbs9 only gained 7oz in a MONTH. So I have another emergency scan booked for Tuesday to make sure he is gaining.. if not i'm guessing he will be joining the world next week...

On 1/31/12 at exactly 16 weeks pregnant Noah came too soon. He was our 7th loss
If you would like to see pictures of my sweet (but tiny) boy they can be viewed at www.caringbridge.org/visit/noahdarrohn they aren't the easiest pictures to look at but I am willing to share them with anyone who would like to see them <3
On August 2, 2012 we lost Sarah at 17 weeks. She was our 8th loss Her pictures can be viewed at http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/sarahdarrohn
There is no known explanation for my losses.

I have an u/s on Monday so I will have another estimate. At just over 29 weeks she was 3lbs 11oz. I have big children already. Zakk was 8.13 at 38 weeks. I suspect even if she is taken at 37 weeks as we have slowly started discussing she will be around 8lbs. Possibly even over 8lbs.

Is that some crazy Michigan thing -- they don't tell you the baby's weight????

I go in for my 36 week position scan on Thursday, so I'll find out then. However, at this point, the doctor is saying that Acorn should be about 7 pounds at birth -- we'll see if he's right.

At 34 weeks Kya was estimated at about 5lbs 6oz I think... don't know if that's big or little or just norm.

Kaylee was estimated in the 6lb range at 34 weeks for me as well... but looks like the u/s was off by 1lb - since she was born at 6lbs 4oz (36 weeks on the dot), so the same could be for your kiddo.

I'll find out on the 26 when I get my 36 week ultrasound.
My guess is he is bigger than my DS because I have gained less weight at this point than with DS, but my belly looks bigger...to me at least...
