For the mama's with cribs and prepackaged bedding sets...what are you doing with the comforter?
The one I have is super cute, but not very practical. It's not as soft as the other baby blankets I have. And I know that baby isn't supposed to have a blanket in his crib anyway. It seems silly to have it in the crib and then remove it when I put him to sleep, but it's cute and matches so I want to "display" it somehow Without ruining it, because I'll probably use it as a comforter once I convert the crib to a toddler bed, or even when baby is older. All I can think of so far is draping it on the rocking chair as, like, a back pad or something, but I'm sure you guys have some way better
We hung it on the wall behind the crib as a decoration until she was old enough for real tummy time then I used it as a tummy time mat I always said I would use it as her toddler bedding but once she got her big girl bed I was too excited to redecorate her "big girl room" that I got her all new bedding
I found some clips at BRU that were shaped like stars. You hung them on the wall and then attached the comforter like clothesline kinda. No damage at all excel the 2 holes in the wall

That is a VERY good idea! Just make sure to hang it up high enough to where LO won't be able to pull it down in the future but by then LO may be able to actually use it. VERY cute!
You can find lots of clips that are really cute to display the quilt on the wall. And I've used the crib quilt on the floor for the baby to lay on.
What came with the bedding I have this time is very soft and not very decorated-- more like just a blanket-- so right now I have it draped over the rocking chair in the baby's room.
Thanks for all the ideas! I found a website with some reasonably priced and adorable crib quilts, so I might just get them (I'm not not skilled or crafty enough to make anything myself).
we hung DS's on the wall with the wall hanger stiky things (descriptive i know )
Like the stick wall hooks? I'm trying to figure out a way to rig it so that I can do that. It would be way cheaper than buying even the least expensive clips I can find. Plus I'm not technically supposed to put holes in the wall (although it's a little too late for that)
We are hanging Jackson's comforter... I am lucky enough to have a MIL who can sew... She is going to sew a loop onto the comforter and hang via a rod...
My MIL also sewed the curtains for Emmie's room and is doing the curtains for Jackson's room. She also sewed pillows, rocking chair cushion and is doing a new cushion for our new rocker glider...
She also made the diaper hanger for Jackson's room to match the bedding... This woman ROCKS...

i always had my baby;'s comforter in the crib from the get go
i know a lot of people display theirs on the wall or on a chair though
i think it just depends on what the mom thinks is best to do
