For those that have had it happen rather than gushing, what was it like?

When I walk around or stand up, it feels like I'm slowly trickling pee. It stops after about 5-10 minutes until I lay down and then when I get up, it does it again for about 5-10 more minutes. She's moving around a lot so I'm not too terribly concerned.

Not a BTDT mom, but if its happening for 5-10 minutes it can't be pee.... so what else could it be besides your fluid?

I had this happen this weekend, but it was only once. I called L&D and it was not fluids. But again it was only once. I would call.

This. When I had my ultrasound Tuesday, the tech said that fluids can slowly leak & some women don't even notice. I think it's definitely worth checking out.

They can do a check to find out if it's fluid. With my first I was leaking for who knows how long. I thought the extra wetness down south was just from being hot as it was a hot summer and I was never consistently wet and I never felt actual leaking. Turns out it must have been my water because when they wanted to break my water they said it was already broken.

When in doubt, have it checked out!

I don't know from personal experience because when my water broke, it was a gush. However, I would also say get it checked out.

I'm not a BTDT mommy. However, I thought I was "leaking" about two weeks ago and went into the doctor. It turned out to be a yeast infection. The experience taught me it's better to ask and find out it's nothing than not to ask and have it turn out to be really important.

Sounds like it from what I have heard and read! Are you having any contractions? Call L&D and see if they would like you to come in for a quick test. KUP!

I have been concerned about this exact thing many times in my pregnancy, but I have a ton of discharge that has (unbelievably) gotten even worse in the last few weeks. I'm terrified that am going to leak fluids and not even know it since I wear panty liners all the time. My OB tried to reassure me that I would know because it would look and smell different, but I still have worries. Thankfully, at my appt. yesterday they assured me there had been no leaking.

I would call if I were you, at least just to ease your mind. Good luck!

I'm lurking from Oct DDC...

Sounds like exactly what happened to me when my water broke with DD#1. I woke up in the middle of the night to go to the restroom and when I stood up I felt the trickle down my leg. I seriously thought that my bladder was just full and that I couldn't hold my pee in and that I had just peed myself. So I went to the restroom came back to bed and lay down.

I couldn't go back to sleep because I kept thinking, omg what if my water is breaking, so I stood up again to go to the restroom and same thing happened, trickling down my leg. I tried to stop it like you would stop urine flow and it wouldn't stop. This time when I went to the bathroom and wiped I saw a little pink and I knew. Called the on-call Dr. in the middle of the night and they told me to go to the hospital. I wasn't there long they swabbed me or something (man that hurt!!!!) and then told me my water had broke so I was being admitted to have my baby!!

So if you haven't already I would def. get it checked out!
