I have 2 very young sisters,14 and 10. The 14 year old has had fb for a while now and she just made the 10 year old an account. I think the rules for fb are that you must be 13 to have an account.
I don't mind to much that she has it,it makes chatting to her easier since we don't talk on the phone and she lives so far away. Tonight we were chatting and she's like "my mom is concerned about my fb account". I said of course she is,you're to young to have and need to be careful. I told her she should give her mom (she isn't my mom and we don't talk at all,she doesn't like me) the password so she can check her account from time to time. She insists she doesn't do anything bad and I said that's ok,but hey I'm an adult and I've gotten many friend requests from people (men) that I don't know and even one man sent me a message asking me for a date when I first joined FB. My other sister when I found her on facebook when I got my account I called our dad asap (even though we weren't talking at the time) and told him he better get on FB and make sure she took off he profile picture. I didn't like seeing her leaning a little to forward in her low cut shirt! I reported the pic as well to FB. I'm thinking of reporting this new account.
Now the annoying part. My sis and I were chatting and she knows of course that I'm pregnant and single, like not with the father but doesn't know any details really. She asked me tonight "are you seeing anyone?". What???? You're 10 you can't ask me that! It's just a little weird to ask that. I was like,no I'm pregnant and want to focus on the baby now. "But are you seeing anyone as a friend though?" no I'm not. It made me think she was asking for someone else. I don't know. Then a few days ago I asked her when school started again and she's like "sometime in September" and I'm like yeah of course but what day? She doesn't know she says. So tonight I ask her and her friend who she said is there with her "so you start school Monday then?". She doesn't know!!! I told her she should know this by now. Seriously!
