Contractions again, steady and painful at 6 minutes apart. Waiting on some kind of fluid loss to confirm. I hope this is it.....
12:30 EST
After 7 hours of steady contractions 5-6 minutes apart they've reduced to 10 minutes apart. But I'm not too discouraged. They are incredibly painful and I can't seem to talk or move through them. The pressure in my area is intensifying. No fluid losses yet to report.
4:30pm
Still at home with intense, painful contractions 8-10 minutes apart. I need to moan and really focus my breathing through them but they're not getting closer together yet. I called my mom and put her on alert for the kids. I laid down for an hour and tried to rest, then took a hot shower. Now I'm timing again and trying to decide when to call my midwife.
At this point it looks like I'm in for a long night.

My mom just picked up the kids and I called my midwife. My contractions are 5-8 minutes apart and still no fluids so she says I should wait a while longer to come in.
So I'm sitting on my ball and watching "The business of being born".
I'm just not in a good mood right now. I want to be excited but I'm feeling very cranky.
11pm
Contractions are steady at 4-6 minutes for over an hour now. I'm headed out to the hospital. Hoping this goes pretty fast because I am tired!
