Is it just me - or is my little boy just developing way too fast already? I noticed about three weeks ago, that he is actually "stranging out" people he don't know and now it's just gradually growing.

And sadly it seems, that my baby boy has allergies
No more giving Carrots, Mango or Banana for him. Last two made his tongue swell so bad, that I ended up crying since I thought he was going to die

Thankfully it did pass off, but it's just horrible to see how bad reaction your little one gets.

I would strongly recommend that you not feed him any more solids until you have an Epi pen for him. I was advised by my sons allergist that swollen lips/tongue requires epinephrine and a trip to the ER(by ambulence). His airway could swell shut. Do you have childrens benadryl? You should!

I'm not trying to scare you but as a parent of a child with multiple life-threatening food allergies I know how serious it can be and how quickly a reaction can escalate into a life or death situation.

If it ever happens again please do not hesitate to get him immediate medical attention! His life could very well depend on it!

Evelyn had a similar reaction to Mangos. We have several epi pens in the house, but remember the epi doesn't "fix" the problem it just buys you time to get to the hospital. I fully believe EVERY parent should have infant benedryl and tylenol on hand just in case. And please make sure all you amazing mommas are waiting the MIN 4 day rule with introducing new solids. (we wait a week between introducing new foods/drinks) My little sister is allergic to nearly everything and it can be quite horrifying when things don't agree with her.

He was given EPIPEN just in case before starting the solids, because of my own background with being allergic to most of the most common food ingredients.

He will get an appointment as soon as possible it can be now from the hospital, and the charting done, so hopefully not in the future I will panic for him so much.

None of us have any food allergies so far. Thank goodness, because that sounds way too scary!
