Can you guys believe it time to start thinking about the little one's First Birthday??
If you are interested, please sign up on this thread. You MUST met all the requirements to participate.
- Be an active member of the September 10 Playroom with at least 300 post and 150 of them be in the PR.
- Gifts can be between $15-$25 not including shipping.
- Please indicate if you are willing to exchange with someone out of the US on your sign up post.
- All gifts must be mailed by August 6th with a tracking number.
- It will be a secret shower. Once you have been paired up, we will send you who you will buying a gift for. If you have any questions for that momma, you can PM them to me or Melissa and we will ask them for you.
- We will open presents on September 1, 2011 at our Thursday chat.

What size does your LO wear? 6-9m now but by then I suspect at least 12m

Would prefer to buy for another Canadian mama if at all possible. If not, the U.S. is fine.

What toys does you LO like? He likes almost all toys, especially ones with bright colors, music or lights.

Anything else you would like your buddy to know? We don't really like the typical boy clothes with trucks, airplanes, dinosaurs, etc.

What size does your LO wear? right now, he's between the 12 mo and 18 months. I suspect he'll be in 18 months come mid/late May... and by Sept 1 at our shower, he may very well be in the 18 mo clothes, but maybe getting into the 24 month clothes (?) .
At there first birthday what kind of climate will you be in? fall (cool) turning cold to winter
What toys does you LO like?  pot lids for noise and reflection the phone, remote and paper! Toys... hmmm... I think he'd like something he could chase around (he chases Easter eggs) and we don't have ANY boy toys! (cars, trains, nothin'!)
Favorite colors? Primary colors catch his eye right now.
Are there any themes you would like to incorporate in your present? We do have a TON of 24 month clothes that were handed down to us, but as for any other ideas, nothing specific Anything would be wonderful!

What toys does you LO like? pretty much anything ... she loves putting stuff in and taking it out right now. She also loves her spoon ... just a black spoon

Are there any themes you would like to incorporate in your present? cars, trains, basically transportation. Please no Winnie the Pooh or Dr Seuss

Anything else you would like your buddy to know? We love little hair bows! And just about anything girly! Molly loves reading time and bath time!
I would prefer in the US. I had an international for our baby shower and I'm not sure if she ever received it... I never heard, so maybe I did it wrong.

What size does your LO wear? He's in 18month right now...but that is Target brand. I know some brands run differently. I suspect by Sept he'll be in 18-24. Holy Moly.
At there first birthday what kind of climate will you be in? Warm, but turning cooler in the following month
What toys does you LO like? Things that roll away from him. Cars he can push back and forth. Anything that shakes and makes noise. He loves stuff that plays music. He really isn't picky.
Favorite colors? He couldn't pick just one.
Are there any themes you would like to incorporate in your present? nah
Anything else you would like your buddy to know? Nope! I am not a huge fan of character things. We get enough of that through E. 
This will be fun!! Can we check back closer to shopping time (July maybe) and do a size check and toy check?

At there first birthday what kind of climate will you be in? Warm/hot in July.. but if we're opening gifts September it wil be turning much cooler.

Are there any themes you would like to incorporate in your present? If coming from outside the UK, I love all of the bold colours/prints you can get. We like lions too But honestly we'll be happy whatever!

I am happy to ship abroad, BUT I got stung badly on shipping costs in the shower.. I got a bit carried away filling the box, so I'll def stick to budget this time lol!

Sizes: Now he is still in 6 month and maybe starting 9 month sometime soon - I am going to assume he is going to maybe be in the 12 month category then.
Climate: Hot, Hot, and more hot --- there have been years where we can wear shorts on Thanksgiving and XMAS... Gotta love the South.
Favorite Colors: blue and red
Favorite Toy: No preference - he loves his jumparoo and thins that make noise
Jackson doesn't prefer anything in particular - He looks great in Baby Blue and White...
He is just thankful for all his JM Aunties and cousins and looks forward to shopping for his birthday buddy :-)

Hang in there! We usually do something around Christmas too. Many of us got "hosed" by individuals who weren't "regulars", so keeping the post count in mind is one way to try to safeguard against this.
We definitely want to get to know you more, and as you post, you'll also get to know more of us
