I know I just recently posted pics of some of Eli's antics, but this tops them all!
DH and I were trying to figure out what we wanted for dinner, when we noticed that Eli was on a mission. He crawled over to his toy car and started to pull up on it (ok, totally normal...). THEN, he put a knee on it. THEN, he crawled on top of it and stood up (totally NOT normal!!). By this time, I ran and grabbed my camera and DH ran in the room to spot him. We were so curious as to what he was up to....
And what was the purpose of this epic journey, you might ask???
TYPICAL man!!!
I am seriously impressed by this little guy! He sure is getting more courageous by the day! He has even started to let go of the things he has pulled up on, so he is standing without assistance (of course he falls over after 3-4 seconds ).
Oh how I love my crazy boy!

Kelli, he reminds me so much of Logan, do you have a rocking horse? Logan's fav thing to do was to stand on the seat, let go and rock with his arms inthe air (yet the little monkey was too afraid to take a step on flat ground)
Eli is an amazing little guy! Love how you got a picture progression of him!!!! Great firsst mothers days memories!!!
just as much as seeing him climb, i love seeing the problem solving skills in action. Celia is getting pretty in to climbing too, but not all the way up the couch. WTG Eli!!
Remote = control to men!! Too funny, way too go Eli!!! I found Gabriel standing on his push toy one day, I'll get on my phone on post the pic really quick.
These kids are starting to become creative little dare devils!!
That is hilarious! He was on a mission to get that remote! We also have a climber in our house. My DD was just learning to crawl at this point, so it seems crazy that he is already climbing on things.
Oh my! It always makes me so nervous when they try to climb up on things that have wheels.
I know those days won't be to far off for E. Right now I'm glad he is just happy crawling around. He has pulled himself up on his knees in the crib one time.
WTG, Eli!!! Those remotes can inspire some great feats
Kellen almost fell down the stairs (I was right in front of him, but if I weren't he would have) because their depth perception is off... they'd crawl right off a cliff if we let them, so be careful Kensley crawled right off the bed one day. DH swore she wouldn't and I said she would and off the bed she went, but he grabbed her as she was heading to the floor Now, she loves to "fly" and play those games of swinging through the air... Silly girl.
