Suffered a second trimester loss recently So, so, so sad! Thinking of their family during this time!
Whether it's your first baby or your twentieth, it's so heartbreaking and unfair to hear the news of your child passing

ITA! I am shocked at how many comments on FB are so negative. I know not everyone agrees with the families choices but how could you ever be happy or cavalier about losing a child. No one should have to experience that.

So sad!
I recently read something about their being no word to describe a parent who has lost a child. There is widow/er for losing a spouse or orphan for losing parents, but nothing for a parent losing a child, it is such a great loss it can not be defined by a word.

People can be so ignorant and coldhearted. I am just now seeing negative comments and the idea that anyone would have said anything negative had not even crossed my mind til now!!
These were on FB:
"yes its sad...but 19 kids...thats a little much...but thats just my opinion"
"20th child...I believe her body (mom) just cant handle having more kids..."
Why does it matter what number child it was??? I am so sad that on top of losing her baby, she is going to get torn apart by judgmental people

It's soooo sad Noone should feel that loss. No matter if you agree or not, their life is THEIR LIFE to do as they want with. It doesn't impact anyone else!

i don't get why people feel like the number matters. Every baby/pregnancy you love is special and is a special child and a loss is heartbreaking. It makes me so sad that people feel like that's a sign for her to stop having babies ... no loving god or higher power would tell a woman that through taking their child - seriously, that's just cruel to say. If i would have stopped getting preggo after the loss of my son Erik i would have never had Brandon or Kaylee. Mrs Duggar had such a good response about it - heartbreaking/ but that god chooses when to share a life with us and when to bring him/her home.
i think people are detached from what they're saying because it's a TV show. Would you say that to your best friend if she lost her first or second? People aren't thinking in those terms - this is a real life and a real family, it's not tv.
sorry vent and soap box over

 - A loss is a loss, no matter what number of baby. It is so heartbreaking to hear of a loss. My thoughts are with them.

Saw my first negative comment on FB and it makes me angry. I think people are using the loss as a way come back at them for saying that they let God decide how large their family will be.
There are SOOOOOOOO many worse things in the world than a family who has a lot of kids. Jeez!

If they can support 20 kids and love each one, why does anyone care? It is so mean to pass judgement on them. A loss is a loss and I feel for her.

After our last conversation on here about the Duggars, I literally had known nothing about this family. I had always just kinda thought they were a typical reality family and I was way off. (and ignorant for that matter) I have done a lot of reading about them since and have an ENORMOUS amount of respect for them. The heartache they are dealing with is absolutely horrible, and no one should have to go through it.
My heartfelt prayers are with the whole family.
Also, I was really hoping to try and watch their show somehow..but neflix doesn't have it. I'd like to waste a bunch of time catching up on their seasons!

I just keep thinking about how they had to tell their kids. KWIM? I'm sure they all took it hard, too. I completely agree, a loss is extremely painful, no matter how many kids you have.

Oooh, Nichole, Netflix DOES have it! It's past seasons though... under 17 Kids and Counting or 18 Kids and Counting.
Darn. Nevermind. They had it before but must have moved it to DVD only. Sorry!
