about 2 years ago. We where all in the early stages of PG and our bodies where starting to get puffy. Remember there was alot of talk about getting faux wedding ring sets. A GF of mine brought this up the other day so I thought I would check back with everyone on it.
Where you one of the one's window shopping for a faux set?
Did you get a faux set?
If you got it did you actually wear it? How long did you wear it?
oh and did you prefer its design to your origanl set?

I never bought anything. I'm not one to care what others would think if they saw me pregnant and ringless. I know the bond hubby and I have and didn't think I needed a ring to show that. Even now, a lot of the time I don't have it on since I am at the house doing things.

LOL, I don't wear my ring at all anyway b/c after I had lost 100 lbs a few years ago it has been too big and was too big while i was pregnant. I actually need to take care of that b/c everyone must always think i am unmarried

Nope, I stopped wearing my rings almost immediately and did not put them back on until almost 5 months pp when I started losing the weight.

I also have a tattoo but I didn't get that until last year. My kids lost my wedding band at our old house and my engagement ring gives me a weird rash so I just didn't wear anything. I love my tattoo though.

I wore mine for a while, then took them off for a bit in the summer when I was terrified that my fingers would swell up. I wore a ring with a couple of diamond chips in it that once belonged to my mom during that time, but once I saw that I could get the rings on and off in the heat/humidity, I put them back on for good.

Yes I bought a cheap plastic set and wore it my last trimester. What's funny is I got tons of compliments on my huge, fake, plastic "diamond". But I prefer the style and setting of my real rings.

oh reading this post is so funny. I remember all the threads we had going at one time with different conversations and all the pictures of sets being posted. Yet it seems that most of us still around never got one.
Getting a faux set never crossed my mind with any of my pregnancy's. I did do some window shopping for a real set since my original got lost, but really can't see spending the money on it. One day maybe....besides I have my band.
Megan thats funny that you got all those complaments on your fake.
