I know many of you don't have older kids in school, but for those of you who do (or are teachers) are you going anywhere for spring break? If so, where?

Our spring break is the last week in March and while we usually go somewhere with the kids, I'm afraid we'll book something then end up being in the middle of a closing and have to cancel :-/ and besides that it's usually a very busy time anyway because, my oldest son will be flying to visit his deadbeat sperm donor and we'll have to schedule our flight around his..plus April 1st is my youngest sons birthday so it's always so hectic going on vacay and coming back planning a birthday party almost immediately...soooo not sure what to do but hate to sit home for a week only for nothing to happen (house wise)...ahhhhh what to do!

We have no plans at the moment. Honestly I'm not sure of when spring break is here.....I guess I should check.

We are either driving to Salt Lake City to visit family, or meeting up in Yosemite for a camping trip- either way it'll be fun.

Trish, what about looking into some awesome local activities? Things you wouldn't normal do within driving distance of home, but that would be neat and fun? Maybe even look into planning a night or two at a hotel downtown? That way, you still have options and things to do to keep you busy and have fun in with the kiddos if you are still in limbo with the house, but you don't have plane tickets or a booked vacation if you are in the middle of moving.
~Kris~, irish luck and -Trish- like this.

Zip. Zilch. Nada. And I'm perfectly fine with that!

Mine is at the end of March. DH is talking about doing a fishing trip with his dad for a few days. As for me, I plan on just relaxing with Betsy, maybe hitting the outlet mall, and just doing nothing for a solid week!

Nathan's break is April 6th-15th. We don't have anything planned. Hubby is gone for work from the 14th-22 already so he really can't be away from work for 2 weeks in a row.

Nada! I don't really notice spring break or holidays anymore with home schooling. We will be doing school most likely!

Nothing for spring break which is sometime in the beginning of April, but for winter recess which is next week, we are going on a cruise.
