It's my b'day in a few weeks. I think I want a new purse. I like what I think are called satchels. I like when they have the short handles to grab, and then has a longer strap to go as a shoulder bag.

Post any you like! And stop with the purses that cost hundreds you crazy people!

Okay, I was gonna say the gorgeous Coach purses that we were looking at when we were at Lenox, but you said not the hundreds of dollar purses
Check Macy's for some cute bags or even TJ max or Marshalls have great deals

I don't get the appeal of the "100s of dollars" purses.... they just have big old "C"s all over them.... Then again, I know my style isn't for everyone either....
Check out Etsy! I just bought a custom bag from a seller that I will be using as a new diaper bag! Here's a pic:

I totally have a coach bag picked out - as soon as I win the lottery.

Good ideas about places!

Good idea Kelly! I hadn't thought of there!

I'm a boring, grab a $20 purse from Target or Kohl's kind of girl. Good luck finding what you're looking for (or tell Nichole and have her make you something!)

I love that bag, Kelli!!

I love messenger style bags that sling across my body. I can't keep a bag on my shoulder to save my life, and in the morning with a flailing toddler, diaper bag, diapers, lunch bag, coffee etc. it's one less thing to carry.

Have you looked at any of the Thirty One bags? They have tons of cute options and aren't too expensive. More than I might spend, but I think it would be okay for a birthday present (I think they are usually around $50 for what you are looking for?). I'm super cheap. I don't do $100 bags, either. I did have a Coach purse once. It was rainbow striped and I got it for $15 at a garage sale

I'm a Vera Bradley girl. The bags can be expensive, but if you wait for sales or shop the outlets (or eBay), you can get them at good prices. I love that they're fabric so you can easily clean up spills. They come in lots of styles and some of them are super roomy. I sound like i work for them -- I don't, I just really love the bags!!!

Ya'll are giving me some good ideas. Here's what I've got so far. I'm really liking pink or other spring like colors.
